As a photo editor for the Associated Press, I’ve directed photo coverage and edited major news and sporting events around the world including earthquakes, wars, urban wildfires, papal visits, US Open golf, MLB playoffs and World Series, NFL playoffs and league championship games, and Olympic Games.
Whether it’s old-school analog film or the new digital imaging frontier, I’m equally comfortable in either world and the goal is the same: tell the story visually with impact in alignment with the words and guidelines.
